Committed to Our Eagan Community
Gopher Resource has been part of the Eagan community for over 80 years. Our employees live and work in the area, and we are committed to being a responsible neighbor and an active member of the community. At our Eagan facility, our employees recycle spent lead batteries and recover critical materials that can be returned to productive use for American manufacturing.
Being a responsible member of the community also means keeping our neighbors informed. This site provides direct access to air monitoring information, updates about community meetings, and other resources related to our Eagan operations.
Our goal is to make this information clear, accessible, and easy to understand, and to provide ongoing updates so community members can stay informed.
Air Monitoring in Eagan
Gopher Resource conducts ambient air monitoring around our Eagan facility and makes monitoring information available to the community. Air monitoring results continue to show 90-day rolling averages well below the National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) for lead.
Monitoring information is updated each Wednesday and includes current and historical results, information about monitor locations, downloadable data, and resources to help explain how the monitoring program works.
Community Meetings
Gopher Resource will hold semi-annual community meetings to share information about our Eagan operations, provide updates, and give community members an opportunity to ask questions and share feedback.
Details about upcoming meetings will be posted on this site when they are scheduled. Following each meeting, meeting minutes and available materials will also be posted so community members can stay informed even if they are unable to attend.
